"We'll let her rest," he says. "It's a lot of work, running a business."

Among all the other things she does, not the least of which is trying to take care of anyone near and dear to her.

"And what are your plans for the day?" he asks. He has a late start himself, not needed over at the Home until the afternoon, planning on staying there until the evenings. He likes being around when the kids get back from school, likes being there to help them with homework, getting settled, all the things he did even before they were paying him for it.
